Our first session starts with an assessment, where I ask you some questions to better understand life stressors and/or psychological symptoms (e.g. feeling flat, anxiety or stress) that are causing you distress. We discuss your existing coping skills and determine your therapy goals. I introduce customized evidence-based strategies to help you regulate emotions, cope with stressors, be kinder to yourself, increase well-being and/or heal from the past. We will often co-create a plan to apply the strategies discussed to your daily life, to help reinforce lasting positive changes.

We discuss your individual needs and how you want to use mindfulness to address specific issues. You will be offered key mindfulness practices to establish and/or continue your personal practice, and explore ways of integrating mindfulness into your daily life.
